Ana is a scientist and medical writer with experience in the fields of Population Health and Genetics.

Ana has a degree in Biology and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Porto. She worked in research and in clinical diagnosis casework at the Institute for Molecular Pathology and Immunology of the University of Porto, and at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute in the University of Minho (Portugal). She produced several original papers, prepared technical and clinical reports, and got involved in international scientific organisations.

Ana complemented her research with training and freelance work in medical writing, scientific illustration and data analysis on diverse health-related fields. She joined P95 as a medical writer in 2020.
