Robin holds a bachelor degree in biomedical sciences (2008), a master degree in biomedical sciences – health and environment (2010) and a master degree in biostatistics (2012) from Hasselt University. She obtained a joint PhD degree in biostatistics (Hasselt University) and medical sciences (University of Antwerp) in 2016, after which she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at these institutions (50%-50%) for two years.

Her work focused on the evaluation of statistical modelling strategies with applications in monitoring antibiotic use and resistance, and infectious diseases (e.g. RSV, LRTI,…). On occasion, she taught introductory statistical courses and served as statistical consultant for industry and academia. In 2018, she obtained a personal grant from the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) to investigate European antibiotic prescribing behavior using innovative statistical approaches, which resulted in >10 publications as first author.

In July 2021, she joined P95 as a biostatistician.
