Epidemiologist

Emy (Chukwuemeka) trained as a medical doctor in Nigeria, graduating from the university of Jos in 2009. Following an internship period and a short stint working in HIV patient care, he took up a clinical role with the MRC unit in the Gambia in 2012. He graduated with an MSc in Epidemiology from the LSHTM in 2016. He subsequently worked as a research physician and trial manager/coordinator in different projects within the MRC before going on to obtain an MSc in Public health from the Institute of Tropic Medicine in Antwerp in 2020. He then worked as a trial safety physician and pharmacovigilance coordinator on a project at the Barcelona institute for Global health.

He joined P95 as an epidemiologist in January 2022.
